Welcome

A large and beautifully furnished 2nd floor two bedroom apartment. Located just 10 minutes(by bus)from the marina, shopping and beaches of Benalmadena and right next to the Golf course . The apartment is available throughout the year and we are happy to organise short breaks of 3 days, right the way through to long term winter lets of one or two months. With fantastic security, off road parking space and 10 minutes from local cafes, restaurants and supermarkets this apartment is the ideal holiday retreat for a couple, two friends or a couple with young children. All our guests are given a warm welcome. We know what its like travelling with a young child so we can provide a travel cot / highchair at a small cost. With luggage weights being restricted all the time we also provide all towels including sheets and hairdryer. We are happy to discuss any special requirements that you may have. Scuba diving in Benalmadena.

The waters near Gibraltar are well known for having a number of interesting shipwrecks. Marine life is bountiful. Expect to see: conger eels, squid, cuttlefish, spider crabs, lobster, trigger fish, sunfish, dolphins and possibly even a whale or two!

Golf .If you are a golfer, you have come to the right place. This is the golfing Mecca of Europe with nearly 60 courses in Andalucia including 30 along the coast. Championship courses include Valderrama, host to the 1997 Ryder Cup, Torrequebrada (where our apartment is)has hosted many world class tournaments including the Spanish Open, and Alhaurin El Grande .Its two 18-hole courses were designed by Seve Ballesteros.

Music in Andalusia. The guitar was invented in Andalusia in the 1790s when a sixth string was added to the Moorish lute. It gained its modern shape in the 1870s. Spanish musicians have taken the humble guitar to dizzying heights of virtuosity and none more so than Andrés Segovia (1893-1997), who established classical guitar as a genre. Flamenco, music rooted in the cante jondo (deep song) of the gitanos (gypsies) of Andalusia, is experiencing a revival. Paco de Lucia is the best known flamenco guitarist internationally.

Cruises from Benalmandena
Costasol Cruceros S.L. operate regular boat trips to Malaga and Fuengirola from the port of Benalmadena. The trip to Fuengirola is 60 minutes each way and operates mid-October to the end of March every Tuesday and Sunday 3 times a day. The service is daily the rest of the year. Return tickets are 10 euro for adults, and 6 euro for children The service to Malaga is 75 minutes each way and operates Mondays and Thursdays departing once a day at 10am and leaving Malaga for the return journey at 2.30pm. It is daily the rest of the year. Return tickets are 11 euro adults, and 7 euro for children. The company also operate round-trips and coastal cruises and they also have a yacht for rent by the hour. The Puerto Marina with 1000 moorings and what many authorities has been described as "the best marina in the world". It has a new shopping centre plus 200 shops, bars and restaurants and also a shipyard, sailing school, diving school, nautical school and a Sea Life Centre aquarium.
